Meet the writers and editors behind BestCreditCards.cc.
BestCreditCards is written and maintained by a small editorial team that researches card terms, builds the rankings and keeps fees and eligibility rules up to date. Rankings and guides are published under the BestCreditCards editorial team byline and follow our ranking method and editorial policy.
What the team does
- Reads each card's fee schedule, key fact statement or terms and the issuer's own product pages before a card is ranked.
- Ranks cards separately in each market — India, the UAE, Brazil, Germany and the other countries we cover — because the same card rarely exists everywhere.
- Re-checks fees, reward rates, lounge rules and income requirements when issuers announce changes, and dates each page with when it was last checked.
- Reviews reader corrections sent through the contact page against the issuer's published source before changing a page.
How a page is checked
A second member of the team checks every fee, rate and rule against the issuer's or regulator's published source and confirms that external links go to official issuer or government sites. We use software tools, including AI writing assistants, to help draft and structure pages; nothing is published until the figures have been checked against the source.
Independence
Card issuers and advertisers do not see, review or approve rankings before publication. How the site is funded is explained in our advertiser disclosure.
