Our verdict

Why the American Express Platinum Card ranks where it does

Good fit if

Skip it if

  • Wer die jährlichen Guthaben nicht sicher nutzt
  • Wer viel in Fremdwährung zahlt und keine Zweitkarte mitnehmen will
Worked example

How it stacks up

The German Amex Platinum is a premium charge card delivering generous travel credits, worldwide airport lounge access and a deep portfolio of luxury hotel and lifestyle benefits.
