Our verdict

Why the ADCB TouchPoints Infinite Credit Card ranks where it does

The TouchPoints Infinite is a lifestyle card first and a rewards card second, and its fee is lower than many listings suggest. ADCB's schedule of fees puts the annual membership fee at AED 1,050, and paying it in the first year brings an AED 1,200 Expedia.ae voucher for a two-night stay, so year one costs less than nothing if you travel. The salary bar is AED 25,000 a month, or eligibility for a credit limit of at least AED 25,000.

The perks carry most of the value: unlimited access for you and one guest per visit at more than 1,200 airport lounges, free rounds at Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Club, buy-one-get-one VOX Cinemas tickets and 20% off Talabat orders. On rewards, ADCB advertises up to 1.5 TouchPoints per AED, with lower rates on categories such as supermarkets, fuel, education and government payments, plus 15,000 bonus TouchPoints in any month you spend AED 15,000.

We have not found a published AED value per TouchPoint on ADCB's site, which makes the rewards hard to compare with cashback cards. Treat the points as a bonus and judge the card on the guest lounge access and golf. For a couple who flies several times a year and plays in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, the fee is easy to justify.

Good fit if

  • Frequent travellers who fly with a partner and want guest lounge access
  • Golfers who will use the free rounds in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
  • Residents earning AED 25,000 a month who spend AED 15,000 monthly on the card

Skip it if

  • Anyone who wants rewards with a clear cash value
  • People earning under AED 25,000 a month
Worked example

Assume AED 15,000 of retail spend every month, all of it earning the headline rate. That gives 15,000 × 1.5 = 22,500 TouchPoints plus the 15,000-point monthly bonus, so 37,500 a month and 450,000 a year, against an AED 1,050 fee. We could not confirm ADCB's AED value per TouchPoint, so instead of assuming one we show the break-even: the points cover the fee if each is worth at least AED 1,050 ÷ 450,000, about AED 0.0023. In year one the AED 1,200 Expedia voucher alone exceeds the fee.

How it stacks up

The Mashreq Solitaire costs AED 1,575 and publishes a clear points value, 380 Vantage points to AED 1, but limits lounge access to 12 visits a year. The HSBC Cash+ also includes lounge access for you and a guest, pays a transparent 1% cashback with no cap, and waives its AED 1,050 fee on AED 24,000 of annual spend. ADCB's card wins for golfers and couples who travel together.
