DKB Visa Debitkarte
DKB's flagship Visa is a free, fully digital card bundled with the popular DKB-Girokonto. It is a long-standing favourite among German travellers thanks to fee-free spending in foreign currencies for customers with active status (Aktivstatus).
Why it ranks
- No annual fee for active account holders
- Excellent for international travel and online shopping in foreign currencies, with active status
- Strong, well-rated mobile banking app
What holds it back
- It is a debit card, not a true credit card, so no payment float
- Cash withdrawals abroad may carry an ATM operator surcharge

Why the DKB Visa Debitkarte ranks where it does
Good fit if
Skip it if
How it stacks up
